Who doesn’t know the great Cristiano Ronaldo right, the non-football fan may call him arrogant, playboy, rich head people, swank and many more. Despite all of that “name”, he actually has a really kind heart, one example was at 2011 he sold his European Golden Boot at the charity auction and raised about 1.2 million euro which he donated to Palestine in order to build school there.

While Lionel Messi, the face of FC Barcelona, who’s famous for his dribbling and action on the pitch and also off the pitch. He has his own charity called Fundación Leo Messi where it focuses on supporting access to education and health care for vulnerable children. Because of that, he been named as the ambassador of UNICEF since 2010.


Cristiano always shows that he’s one of the best forwards in world football, everyone comparing him with also one of the best players, Lionel Messi, but its incomparable between the two of them. They are different players who play in a different position with a different role. You can say that Messi is superior because he won 6 Ballon d’Or in his life while Ronaldo only won it 5 times, but award is just a mere award.

If we just focus on award or silverware, maybe you can say Ronaldo is superior as he already won two international major trophies with his country while Lionel Messi won zero trophies in international competition, but like I said, It just a silverware. Different type of players holding different type of responsibilities.


This quarrel between who is better are only from the fans, not from Ronaldo and Messi themselves. They even praise each other and wishing the best towards them. So, for all football fans out there, we should not compare who’s better because we should enjoy what both of them want to show us on the pitch. We’re fortunate enough to live in a same era as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, their time in football are running out as both of them are not getting younger.

So, it’s better to sit and enjoy while it last.

Youtube sensation Sugu Pavithra have hit 100,000 subscribers earning them a Silver Play Button award.  The news was announced by Pavithra herself in her Youtube video 'Unboxing the Silver Play Button'. Pavitra and her husband Sugu reportedly celebrated the achievement with their family and friends with fried chicken and a cake.
