Can "The Young Tiger" Qualify for World Cup U20?
Malaysia under 19 squad have been vote in group D where
they sit in a same group with Qatar, Tajikistan and Yemen for this upcoming AFC
U-19 Championship in Uzbekistan this October. The vote being made at close door
in Asia Football Confederation (AFC) house at Bukit Jalil.
Recent performance from Brad Maloney boys in AFF U-18
Championship giving faith towards the fans as they have potential to take the
top 4 spots in the AFC U-19. They once beat one of Asia powerhouse, Australia and the team who qualify to semifinal in this competition will automatically qualify for the World Cup
U-20 next year.
Brad Maloney and his players have to work hard in
order to qualify at least for semifinal, but Malaysia have to face the reigning
champion Qatar and also finalist of AFC U-16 Tajikistan in order to go through
the group stage.
Can they do the impossible? Nobody knows but surely,
the team will have full support from all Malaysian football fans.
