The Strokes are back!

The strokes have returned after a seven-year hiatus as they release a new album titled “The New Abnormal.” Post-production is handled by Rick Rubin. Its safe to say this album is very different from any other strokes album. The band known for its high-driven energy sounds approach a more electronic vibe. Some songs in the album has a sad vibe to it like “At The Door” and “Not The Same Anymore” which isn’t synonym with The Strokes past style. Released on April 10, each and every member from the original lineup decided to stick around and record this record. Frontman Julian Casablancas, legendary guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., rhythm guitarist Nick Valensi, bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti all returned to the studio. “The New Abnormal” features nine tracks, clocking in at just above 45 minutes.
