Image

Fans, however, claimed the comments to be fake.  Later that same year, rumours had spread that Minaj had insulted Cardi through her new single ‘No Flag’ in her lyrics. Although there was no specific or direct reference to Cardi, fans however believed that it was indeed about her. Minaj defended herself by denying it in a tweet. Tension started to grow even more after Cardi, Minaj, and Migos produced ‘Motorsport’ which later resulted to tons of drama. Yet the two continued to deny their beef multiple times. The two reported to have discussed their problems at the 2018 Met Gala, blaming the media for purposely wanting to tarnish both rappers’ reputation.  After endless fiascos fans are still wondering, how long will t...

Its safe to say this album is very different from any other strokes album. The band known for its high-driven energy sounds approach a more electronic vibe. Released on April 10, each and every member from the original lineup decided to stick around and record this record. Frontman Julian Casablancas, legendary guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., rhythm guitarist Nick Valensi, bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti all returned to the studio. “The New Abnormal” features nine tracks, clocking in at just above 45 minutes. Image
6ix9ine has been accused of plagiarism by Kenyan producer Magix Enga in a row that saw the US rapper’s recent track ‘Gooba’ briefly taken down from YouTube. Enga initially announced that he had logged a takedown notice with YouTube against ‘Gooba’ in an Instagram post, writing: “Don’t sample my beats. [6ix9ine’s] biggest song delete[d] by Magix Enga”. The producer went on to say that 6ix9ine had used, without permission, samples he had posted on his website several years ago. However, he later said that he had now forgiven 6ix9ine and therefore retracted his takedown notice. He subsequently added that he’d received money from 6ix9ine, which he planned to donate to people in need. After ‘Gooba’ reappeared on YouTube, Enga wrote on Instagram: “Y’all need to know that he did not sample my beats, he used just ...

Music - The Dreamy 5-Member band from Taiwan

Image
Sunset Rollercoaster is an indie band from Taiwan that consists of 5 members Tseng Kuo-Hung (vocal / guitar), Chen Hung-Li (bass), Lo Tsun-Lung (drum), Wang Shao-Hsuan (keyboard), Huang Shih-Wei (drum pads / percussion) and Huang Hao-Ting (Saxophone). It is interesting how they have their own saxophone player, and to be honest, he kills it. The vibe and energy that they emit reminds of a distinct and dreamy sounds with their funky, 80’s inspired tunes. With their groovy synthesizers, sax and guitar solos, velvety vocals, and waves of assorted eras washing over each track Speaking from my personal experience, they create tracks that melt into a soothing feel, and it makes you feel something that is hard to describe but closely resembles nostalgia. One of their most famous album which is Jinji Kikko was inspired when they were into psychedelic soul music like Shuggie Otis and early Funkadelic.   Jinji Kikko was obviously very 80’s inspired with its ...
