When it comes to innovation, everyone wants to try and create something new so that they can lift their name to their highest. There are also people who only create things that beneficial only for themselves, but it’s a different story for Mr. Feroz Zainal who was a former Chef that have a very big heart.

Feroz Zainal, 50, is just an ordinary person who have exceptional mind. After his years as a chef, he started a pizza business at multiple night market across Selangor. Many kinds of problem being faced by him throughout his experience as a food vendor at “pasar malam”, Each and every people who sells at the night market they must own a generator in order for them to have electricity at night. Now there is one major issue in using and own a generator, maintenance cost. The maintenance is to high, you’ll need to pay for the petrol, 2 strokes oil, cleaning and services, all of that need at least RM130 per day and that eventually become liability.

After all of that experience, Mr. Feroz have a thought about what should he do to make the situation better. A very long period of research and development has been done and he successfully invented Batt Pack C13 which can be consider as a direct competitor for generator set in the energy producing product. Generator are basically a portable engine and alternator that are used to provide energy while Batt Pack C13 is a portable battery with that have many kinds of advantage.

Batt Pack C13 focusing on saving money and profit, each and every component from the product are made from tools from the open market. All of it are quite cheap, the things like DB box, car handle, rice cooker input charge and microphone jack used to connect the light wire, and also its own charger which have an auto cut system that can cut the electric current when it is fully charge which make the product stand on its own level. He’s doing this because he wants prevent his product be imitated from other party.

In order to prevent other people imitating his product, he already patents his product in Malaysia and also implement something unexpected to his product. The first thing he do is all the wires inside the battery has the same color, he also fills the inside of the battery with foam that will harden overtime. “I do that only to preserved my work and prevent the battery formula goes into the hand of others” he added. Mr. Feroz also include one more system which some people disagree with, he said that “If there’s people who try to open the shell of the battery, automatically a short circuit will occur”.

The of the big names in the industry are backing up this product such as Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM) and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). You cannot just use the logo of MOSTI, if you got the approval from MOSTI for your product, that’s basically mean that the product is full of potential. So, Mr. Feroz himself stated that the product is 99% safe and good as he also holds Malaysian Innovation Certificate that allow him to do a bigger thing in his next projects.

At the first place, he invented this product just to help himself and his friends to get the most from their businesses. Helping each other are more important than profit itself.
