A guard of honor is when a group of people standing in line to congratulate the opposition on an achievement. Every season, there will be guard of honor for the team who confirmed as a champion. The event happens before the start of the game when the players going out to the pitch from the dressing room tunnel, it is seen as a sign of respect. It is not compulsory for any team to give guard of honor if they face the newly crowned League champions because it is a ceremony agreed between the two clubs beforehand.
