Music - The Dreamy 5-Member band from Taiwan

Sunset Rollercoaster is an indie band from Taiwan that consists of 5 members Tseng Kuo-Hung (vocal / guitar), Chen Hung-Li (bass), Lo Tsun-Lung (drum), Wang Shao-Hsuan (keyboard), Huang Shih-Wei (drum pads / percussion) and Huang Hao-Ting (Saxophone). It is interesting how they have their own saxophone player, and to be honest, he kills it.

The vibe and energy that they emit reminds of a distinct and dreamy sounds with their funky, 80’s inspired tunes.

With their groovy synthesizers, sax and guitar solos, velvety vocals, and waves of assorted eras washing over each track

Speaking from my personal experience, they create tracks that melt into a soothing feel, and it makes you feel something that is hard to describe but closely resembles nostalgia.

One of their most famous album which is Jinji Kikko was inspired when they were into psychedelic soul music like Shuggie Otis and early Funkadelic.

Jinji Kikko was obviously very 80’s inspired with its synth filled sound.
